Monica and Paul's love story began in the most 21st century way possible: online. No grand cinematic moment. No accidental hand touch while reaching for the same book. Just two people, two phones, and enough curiosity to answer a message.What followed was a mix of laughter, sarcasm, increasingly long conversations, and the gradual realization that maybe, just maybe, they had stumbled into something important while sitting in sweatpants at home.Somewhere along the way, they started changing each other in the best ways.Paul convinced Monica to be more adventurous, especially when it came to food. Before him, she probably could’ve happily rotated through the same five “safe” meals for the rest of her life. Instead, she found herself trying new restaurants, new flavours, and occasionally staring suspiciously at something on her plate while he promised, “Just trust me.” Most of the time, he was right.In return, she helped bring out a softer, more patient side of him, one that didn’t need everything to move fast or perfectly, but learned to slow down, be present, and enjoy the moment right where it was. Paul also developed a bigger love for animals, which slowly turned into late nights spent in bed sharing animal videos, and fully accepting that any future plans would probably include pets.Together, they experienced so many firsts. First trips, first traditions, first big milestones, first moments where they looked at each other and realized, “Oh… this is really becoming our life.” Somewhere between the adventures, the laughter, the learning, and all the little everyday moments, they built something that felt easy, exciting, and completely theirs.Fast forward to 2025, and their story found one of its most unforgettable moments yet.In the beautiful city of Nice, France, with its sun soaked charm and endless views of the sea, Paul led Monica up to the Bellanda Tower, a place that already felt like something out of a dream. There, overlooking the coastline and everything they had built together, he asked the question that turned all their little “firsts” into forever.And just like that, in a moment that felt both wildly surreal and completely right, they sealed their forever surrounded by beauty, adventure, and the kind of love that had been growing quietly all along.And so, one chapter gently closed… while the next one, even more exciting than the last, was just beginning.
